Book Ad

" A Thousand Splendid Suns" for a thousand splendid readers. The book i am reading is called "A Thousand Splendid Suns." It takes place in the middle east and from what i have read so far it is interesting. On a scale of 1-10 i give this book about a 7.5 its pretty good but not the best. I am reading this book because my cousin recommended it to me and i read a little bit and got hooked. Other teens may want to read it because its not a boring book that will put you to sleep it is somewhat entertaining even if you don't like to read like me. The main character Mariam has lots of thoughts that she shares though the book and some are very interesting. The best part of the book i think is when Mariam's mother expresses her feeling about Mariam's father who had Mariam and then left them. I don't want to tell you too much about the book so if you want to know more you will just have to read it.

Why So orange Poe?

Why so Orange Poe?
In Edgar Allen Poes masque of the red death the orange room came fourth in the sequence of the rooms. Edgar Allen Poe Put this here because Orange follows Blue Purple and Green in life but comes before White Violet and Black. Orange represents the ages of 21 to about 50. It is the fall or autumn stage of life and as you approach the older stages of life you begin to look at the luster that life really is.
In life you go through stages before you arrive at death. You start out being born then you move in to the toddler stage then you move to adolescence, then you start to become an adult and reach your midlife crisis where you want to do all kinds of crazy things to experience life to the fullest. Then we move on to the older stage when you are pretty much at your wisest and most intelligent state. You have a head full of knowledge. As we continue on we reach the dreary violet stage where you look back on life thinking of all the good times and knowing that death will be coming soon. You feel more depressed in this state usually and you don’t really want to do much because you know death will soon be upon you and you don’t want to depart your loved ones and the thought is killing you. Finally, death comes in and you wind up dead. Black cold stone and you will be missed by all those that loved you.
Orange is really the stage where you try to live life to the fullest and get the most out of this life that is yours for the time being. It occurs during this stage in yours and mine and everyone else’s life time because it is right in the middle you’re not too young and you’re not too old. You’re the perfect age to try anything that you have ever wanted and every will and anything you ever will want to do because once you pass this stage you get older and its harder to do the things that you want to do. Now for me I haven’t reached this stage of life yet. I’m still in the adolescence stage and will be for a few more years and I don’t mind that but even though I haven’t reached this age yet I can still apply this stage to my stage. Even though I’m not between the ages of twenty one and fifty I still can try to live life to the fullest. I won’ be able to do everything because I’m still young but there are many things I can do. I already live life to the fullest by playing sports and doing extracurricular activities. It may not seem like that is but the thrill I get from playing soccer and basketball sure is life fulfilling. Orange may still be a ways away but I don’ see a problem with getting started early.
